Fothergill Matusadona
Fothergill Island is located in Matusadona National Park, a wildlife-rich area that is surrounded by incredible natural beauty. The camp intends to preserve the region’s natural beauty therefore it will be operating as an earth-friendly facility. It will rely on solar power and will also be implementing other eco-friendly strategies in the day to day operations. Fothergill comprises two high-end intimate safari camps which blend well into each other. The camps have ten suites in total; three island suites, five Lake and Bush Suites (double accommodation), and two family suites equipped with two separate en-suite bedrooms with a lounge in the centre.
The Lake and Bush suites are furnished with a private lounge, ensuite facilities, mini bar, tea & coffee station, International charging port, mosquito nets, outdoor seating plus a plunge pool. The Island suites are smaller and can comfortably be converted to twin bed or double bed configurations. They are equipped with ensuite facilities, a writing desk, minibar private lounge and all beds have Mosquito nets. The island suites share a swimming pool.
Fothergill is looking forward to hosting big groups and will be offering an all-inclusive experience. The facility is a family-friendly camp and there is recreation for all ages. Rates will include, accommodation, meals and beverages, Transfers from Marine land, park fees, all activities (on land and on the water, i.e. boating, fishing), Wifi access, and laundry service. There is a well-trained service team that is ready to assist guests and make their stay as comfortable as possible.
Leisure options include Fishing, star gazing, archery, game drives, swimming, board games, bush walks, etc.
