Sunday July 21 – Afternoon of music for brass bands. The Salvation Army’s Zimbabwe Territorial Youth Band hosts this session, Arundel School Chapel, starting 3pm. Concert will be about an hour long and will be followed by tea, wine and snacks under the trees, courtesy of the Honorary Consul of Austria.
Entry by donation, all forms of payment accepted. Programme will include They Shall Come From The East (Kevin Larson); Praise Him (Steven Bulla); When You Believe (sound track of The Prince of Egypt); Southshields Celebrations (Martin Cordner); Praise The Lord (Elieza Lekka); Kingdom Triumphant (Eric Ball); Fusion (Martin Cordner); Serenity (Eric Ball); Cornet Trio Flying High; Euphonium solo: Harbour Light; Vitae Arternum (Paul Lovatt Cooper); Celebration (Leslie Condon).
The Salvation Army Zimbabwe Territorial Youth Band was formed in 2015 and made up of Salvation Army young people from across Zimbabwe. Since its formation the band has performed at a number of events and ceremonies for the Salvation Army, as well as other concerts and festivals around the country. The band has also participated in the Eisteddfod hosted by the National Institute of Allied Arts and in recent years has gained honours and distinctions for all of its entries.
