Mutondo Safaris is running an unbelievable 11-day safari for all birding enthusiasts. This multi-day adventure spans three locations and takes you to three beautiful parks. The tour takes participants to carefully selected areas with highly sought-after species and great bird populations.
Day 1
The tour starts out in Harare with transfers from the Robert Mugabe International airport to Borrowdale. Guests will be taken on a private tour of Birds at Thirty. The park is small but has over 180 species in a pristine location. Day 1 ends with guests spending a night at a local high-end lodge. Bed and Breakfast is catered.
Day 2 - 5
The day starts off bright early with the group setting out for Chirundu by road. The destination is Nyamoumba River lodge on the banks of the Zambezi. For the next four days, guests will be treated to birding experiences and wildlife encounters will be an added bonus The Stay at Nyamoumba is fully inclusive.
Day 5 - 9
Day 5 includes an aerial special, a 2-hour flight over Kariba into Hwange. Here guests are transferred to Chitubu Camp in Hwange. A gorgeous tented camp overlooking a perennial spring. The camp offers lots of birding and game viewing opportunities. The stay at Chitubu is fully inclusive.
Day 9 - 11
The last lap of the tour will be spent in Victoria Falls. The stay is at a lovely bed and breakfast just a short distance from the mighty Falls. Activities to look forward to include A tour of the Falls, a sunset cruise, and high wire activity if guests feel brave to sign up. Victoria Falls also offers exciting birding opportunities
