Presented by the Zimbabwe Theatre Academy Trust in partnership with the Network of Emerging Arts Professional, Zimbabwe Centre of the International Theatre Institute, The Repertory Players, the Zimbabwe German Society, and Africalia. Mitambo is the Shona word for plays and is a platform through which local and global communities can access and celebrate the diversity of cultural identity and artistic expression.
ZTAT’s one-year training program has so far trained 17 students and created six professional productions that have been showcased at Reps Theatre, Bulawayo Theatre, University of Zimbabwe, Jason Mphepo Little Theatre and the Old Mutual Theatre.
