Nyanga’s Rich Pre-Colonial Heritage.

This talk marks the public launch of the heritage booklet, Nyanga’s Rich Heritage, by Rob Burrett and Edone Ann Logan. Published by Khami Press in co-operation with the National Trust of Zimbabwe, part of the proceeds go to the Rhodes Nyanga Historical Exhibition.

Copies of the booklet will be available for sale at the meeting at $5. All members of the Prehistory Society are invited to attend, as are members of the National Trust of Zimbabwe and other interested parties. Also on sale at this meeting will be the new heritage booklet, The Matobo Hills: Zimbabwe’s sacred landscape. 

This covers the natural and social heritage of the granite hills south of Bulawayo. St Georges College, Borrowdale Road (lecture theatre to the left of the Chapel). 5.30pm start. Tea will be served before the talk
