The growing number of stultifying, sluggish, and dying organizations in Zimbabwe call for new mindsets. Given the emergent change environment, calls for transformational change & development should be made loud across economic sectors. As stated by Todd Jick and Kinthi Sturtevant (2017), there is the need to reboot our orientation and practice of organization development and change - rethink our methods and frameworks, re-examine the skills and role of change leadership, change practitioner capabilities and, reexamine the knowledge exchange between academe and practitioners. The Transformational Change & Development Forum Zimbabwe is a knowledge-exchange platform for experienced and emerging practitioners in Zimbabwe. The Forum recognizes practitioners in the country, and international & regional role models whose work and experiences inform local practices. The recognition is designed in the form of an evidence-based Practitioners Profiling Handbook themed ‘Influencers & Pace-setters of Transformational Change & Development in Zimbabwe’. Through the Handbook, organizations in Zimbabwe will appreciate the capabilities of practitioners in the country.
