After picking you up from your hotel, lodge or airbnb we start with a safari around historic landmarks in Victoria Falls, like the train station and the Victoria Falls Hotel. Our licensed safari guide will also point out restaurants, bars, local markets and places of interest you see along the way. From there we continue our safari though the bush where you will learn of the areas flora and fauna as well as the rich and colorful history and culture of Zimbabwe. After nature and wildlife watching between the town and the Zambezi gorge our tour will include an exciting and brief stop of the view of the gorge and the mighty Zambezi river below. If you are fortunate you can witness high wire activities like the gorge swing or zip line and possible whitewater rafting or the jet boat activity thru the rapids of the Zambezi. Back on the Safari Jeep we be continuing thru the bush and are looking for more wildlife, before stopping at the big baobab tree. You will have time to take pictures and shop for some local arts and crafts from a small local market next to the tree. We continue searching for animals and will be returning into town for your departure of your Victoria Falls Town walking safari. Don’t expect a “normal” town tour! Victoria Falls Town Walking Safari is run by enthusiastic locals, who are happy to share their love for their hometown with you! We continue walking for about 15 minutes on a path thru the bush, where we might encounter wildlife such as Impalas, warthogs, and Baboons. Once we have reached another spectacular panoramic site, you will have the photo opportunity of the gorge, the mighty Zambezi, and the bridge. From there we will return to town or if you booked the open ended option you may remain at on of the cafes with a panoramic view of the bridge, the river and the gorge..the choice is yours.Includes
