Victoria Falls River Lodge

The lodge is divided into two sections, The Mainland Lodge and Kandahar Island. The Mainland Lodge has 13 tents in total, 8 luxury tents, and 5 luxury family tents. Tents are canvas units with a thatch roof which makes them well-aerated as well. Rooms come with a private deck, plunge pool, a stocked mini-bar, tea & coffee station, overhead fans, plus ensuite facilities. Bathrooms comprise indoor and outdoor showers, His & hers basin and a large bathtub. Tents have king-size beds or twin beds (guests can indicate preference). The main area is spacious and houses the bar, a stunning view deck, and the gift shop.

Kandahar Island lies in the middle of the Zambezi River, a short boat transfer from the mainland lodge. Accommodation on the island comprises six timber and glass Island Treehouse Suites. These offer a luxury retreat built on raised decks nestled into the thick island vegetation, giving guests a sweeping view of the tiver. The tree-house suites offer a serene escape and guests immediately get immersed in the beauty and peace.

Lodge facilities at the mainland lodge include an inviting infinity pool, a fitness centre, a Beauty Spa and a Leisure activities booking desk. Guests can relax by the main area to get a view of gorgeous African sunsets or look out onto the river or look out for the game on the private waterhole which is close to the lodge. Guest rates include meals and drinks, transfers, two game activities, butler service, snacks and refreshments offered during onsite activities.
