Local Recommendations from our My Guide Zimbabwe team
Only 90 mins from Harare, these campsites are clean with braai stands, hot showers and ablution blocks. With a place to launch your boats, so that you can enjoy some time out of the water and fish. There is great birdlife at the Marina, but it is also a lovely place to relax with friends and family. NO DAY TRIPPERS ALLOWED, only campers. Bring your boat for sundowners or bass fishing! The marina is a privately owned area on Mazvikadei dam. It is within "Gold Dust" - a secure gated residential community. Campers who respect nature are welcome. Pre-booking is essential. Please note that tents, chalets or boats cannot be hired at The Marina so please bring your own camping equipment and a boat if you wish to go out onto the Lake.
Discover one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, Victoria Falls, on a day trip from Kasane. Appreciate why locals call the falls "The Smoke That Thunders" as you visit different viewpoints. Explore local markets and the Victoria Falls Rainforest.
On this full-day tour you’ll go on a boat trip on the Chobe River and a game drive in Chobe National Park. The park is well known for its elephant and lion populations. Transfer from Victoria Falls is included, as is lunch at the Cresta Mowana Lodge.
