Elephant's Eye

Elephant’s Eye is an exclusive tented lodge located in the wildlife area of Hwange. The lodge is an eco-lodge which means it was designed to provide a travellers retreat which leaves only a minimal imprint on the natural landscape. It comprises 8 comfortable chalets plus the unique option for guests to sleep outdoors on the deck, on their sky bed. The lodge is on a wildlife-rich private concession which gives guests access to a true African bush experience.

Guest facilities include en-suite chalets as well as outdoor shower and verandah. There is complimentary wifi access, a bar, library, gift shop, restaurant and swimming pool. The lodge is well protected from dangerous animals by a perimeter fence and there is 24-hour security, therefore, vehicles and guests are absolutely safe. 

Activities on offer are; guided game drives, done either at the crack of dawn or in the evenings. Guests can look out for plains game, predators, amazing birdlife in the morning tours, a lot to look forward to during Bushwalks and Horseback Safaris too. Those who would like less exerting leisure pursuits can opt for beauty treatments and massages at the onsite Beauty Spa. 

Interesting off-camp activities include game drives into the Park, visits to nearby Victoria Falls and the Wild Dog Research station. Rates include all meals and drinks.
