Description

Get picked up from the airport to a mid-range lodge the day before, where you will have time to rest, have dinner, and prepare for the activities of the following day. After breakfast, then get ready to go on a guided game drive to Victoria Falls with an experienced guide. After your day trip to the falls, enjoy lunch and then rest before your next activity: a sunset boat cruise down the Zambezi River.After breakfast the following day, get ready for your next destination. Drive to the next part of your safari, enjoying a game drive as you head to Kasane. Another transfer will be made in Kasane as you head to Savuti in the Chobe National Park, your home for the next 2 nights, all the while being on the lookout for more game viewing. Stop along the way to enjoy your lunch out in the wild.Arrive at the camp and be treated to a hot shower in the privacy of your en-suite Meru tent. Wake up for coffee. Your early morning game drive will be a highlight of your safari, it’s when animals are active and easily seen, and the light is beautiful.Ask your guide everything you ever wanted to know about wildlife while out on an afternoon game drive. You will visit the famous rock paintings in Savuti. Be woken up to go on an early morning walk after coffee. Then, embark on a game drive. Upon return, be treated to a warm-filling brunch.Pack up and head out on a drive from Khwai to the Okavango Delta. It is at the Mokoro station where you will climb onto the mokoro and embark on a leisurely ride in the middle of the Delta while your team sets off to set up camp in the delta. Upon arrival on camp, be treated to a warm shower and soon after dinner will be served.Our safari vehicle will take you to Boro where you will board a mokoro, a traditional dug-out canoe, polled by an experienced guide for a 3-hour cruise down uncharted side channels that are not accessible by motorboats. This brings you up close and personal to arguably Africa’s most pristine gameland. You may be unsettled about just how close you are to the wild, until you realize that you have just become a part of the environment. This is where you will get into such a relaxed mode and take it all in. On this mokoro trip, you'll enjoy exploring nature in a whole new way. You will spend the afternoon game and bird viewing from the mokoro. You will go through one of the most spectacular areas that the Okavango Delta has to offer. The wide open plains of this area are home to a large number of red lechwe, a semi-aquatic antelope with amazing adaptation, and lots of crocodiles and birds. You're in for a real treat when you join us for a picnic. You'll arrive back shortly before dark to a warmed bucket shower and a hearty campfire where you will have dinner.No one wants a safari to end, but we know that you will have had a wonderful time with us in Botswana.
