Description

Day 1: Victoria Falls Arrive at Victoria Falls International Airport and transfer to your lodge. In the evening, enjoy a sunset dinner cruise on the Zambezi River. Spot wildlife like hippos, crocodiles, and birds as you dine onboard (drinks available for purchase). Day 2: Victoria Falls After breakfast, embark on a guided walking tour of Victoria Falls National Park. Learn about the geology, flora, fauna, and local legends of this iconic site. Spend the afternoon at your leisure, with an optional lunch on your own. In the evening, savor a Boma Dinner and Drum Show, featuring local cuisine and entertainment. Day 3: Bulawayo Depart for Bulawayo after breakfast and check in at your lodge. In the afternoon, visit the Natural History Museum for a guided tour, learning about Zimbabwe’s biodiversity and heritage. Day 4: Matobo Hills Spend the day exploring Matobo Hills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit ancient San rock art and Cecil John Rhodes’ grave at World’s View. Opt for a walking safari to track rhinos. Enjoy a picnic lunch (own expense) before returning to Bulawayo for dinner at the lodge. Day 5: Great Zimbabwe Drive to Great Zimbabwe and check in at your lodge. In the afternoon, explore the Great Zimbabwe Monuments, discovering dry-stone ruins and learning about Shona history and legends (lunch at own expense). Day 6: Nyanga Take a scenic drive to Nyanga via the Eastern Highlands and check in at Rupurara Lodge. Spend the afternoon at your leisure, with options for trails, birdwatching, or relaxation. Enjoy dinner at the lodge, featuring local produce. Day 7: Nyanga Exploration Visit Nyangombe Falls in the morning, then drive to World’s View for panoramic sights. Have lunch at Troutbeck Resort (own account) before returning to Rupurara Lodge for dinner and rest. Day 8: Marondera & Harare Depart Nyanga after breakfast and visit a Zimbabwean family in Marondera for a cultural tea experience. Continue to Harare, where you’ll check in at your hotel (depending on flight time) and enjoy a farewell dinner. Day 9: Departure After breakfast, transfer to Harare International Airport for your flight.
