Explore the vast genuine wilderness of the Zambezi National Park in Zimbabwe which has two main game-viewing sections and thus the Zambezi (National Park) River Game Drive, with an extensive network of roads along the river accessed through the main gate of the Park Zambezi National Park together with Victoria Falls National Park cover an area of 56,000 hectares. Using an open four-wheel-drive vehicle, the game drive allows the guests to discover many interpretations of the bush and all its inhabitants, related to them by suitable trained and qualified guides. When you reach the national park entrance, the guide will handle the formalities and do the official briefing once inside the park. After the briefing, continue with the drive and a wide variety of larger mammals may be found within the Zambezi National Park including elephants, lions, buffalo, and leopard. In addition, herds of different antelopes and different species of game can be viewed. However, the park is not a fenced area as the animals are always on the move meaning to say its all about being at the right place, at the right time. Its not a Zoo but a game of luck. The Zambezi river is also home to over is 75 species of fish and is famous for its bream and tiger fish. As you continue with the drive, upstream along the Zambezi River Drive, there are 25 numbered sites where you will use one of these sites to take a break, have a light snack and stretch your legs after a long drive. The morning safari sets off at 0600hrs and a light breakfast of muffins, fruits, hard boiled eggs, tea/coffee and mineral waters are served. The afternoon safari departs at 1500hrs and soft drinks, beer, mineral waters and a snack platter are offered. These sites are attractively situated on the banks of the river and sheltered beneath the beautiful shady trees like the Natal Mahogany. The game drives lasts three hours in duration.Includes
