Description

After your self-guided tour of Victoria Falls, find the abseiling launch site just before the bridge, hidden behind the trees. Once you sign the waiver forms, a safety briefing will prepare you for the descent. You will be fitted with a full-body harness and abseil 110 meters down to flat solid rock called the ruware, overlooking the boiling pot with the falls directly ahead.

During high water months, the abseil distance reduces to 80 meters with a winch-assisted return to the platform. The unique view from this location cannot be accessed elsewhere and is enhanced by a refreshing breeze from the falls in warmer months.
