Description
Chobe National Park is known for its large elephant herds concentrated along the Chobe River, especially during the dry season when approximately 85,000 elephants inhabit the park. The park also hosts lions, leopards, buffaloes and antelope species such as sable, puku, kudu and eland. Hippos and some of Africa’s largest crocodiles are commonly seen in the river.
The day starts with a transfer from Victoria Falls to the Kazungula border where guests meet their Botswana guide. The morning cruise on the Chobe River offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. After the cruise, lunch is served at a riverfront hotel. The afternoon includes a game drive in the park before returning to Kazungula border to meet the Zimbabwean guide for the transfer back to Victoria Falls.
