Description
Clients are picked up early between 7:00 and 7:30 am and transferred to the Botswana border, about an hour’s drive from Victoria Falls. After completing border formalities, guests meet their guide or captain who will assist throughout the trip.
There are two options for the half-day trip:
- Game drive and lunch
- Boat cruise and lunch
If you choose the game drive, the guide will take you into Chobe National Park for a morning of active wildlife viewing. The game drive is generally best in the morning to see animals at their most active.
If you select the boat cruise, you head directly to the Chobe River. While morning cruises are available, the afternoon is preferable when animals visit the river to drink and cool off. This is often paired with lunch at around 12:00 pm before the cruise.
The morning option typically concludes around 1:30 pm, with a return to the border and transfer back to hotels. The afternoon cruise finishes around 4:30 pm before returning to Victoria Falls.

- Visa fees for entering Botswana or re-entering Zimbabwe. It is recommended to obtain a KAZA visa, multiple entry, or double entry visa for ease of border crossings

- Children under 18 must carry birth certificates (soft or hard copies) for Botswana immigration
- If traveling with one parent only, an affidavit or authorization letter from the absent parent is required to permit travel with the child
