Description
Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park borders Livingstone, Zambia, beside the Zambezi River. The park protects an endangered population of southern white rhinos that guests track on foot accompanied by armed rangers in open bush.
The tour combines two activities. First, an open 4x4 game drive explores the riverine woodland where you may see giraffes, zebras, warthogs, antelopes, and sometimes elephants and hippos. After a short rest with snacks and drinks by the river, the walking safari begins, offering close-range tracking of white rhinos on foot.
This combination provides unique access to wildlife close to a tourism hub. Snacks, soft drinks, bottled water, park entry fees, and hotel pickup from Livingstone are included. Morning and afternoon departures are available.
