Description
Your day begins with a 7:00 AM hotel pickup in Victoria Falls. The drive to Chobe National Park takes just over an hour, including immigration at the Kazungula border. Upon arrival, a professional guide will take you on a three-hour game drive through diverse ecosystems including dense woodland, savannahs, and grasslands. Expect to see large elephant herds, big cats such as lions and leopards, and a wide variety of bird species.
After the game drive, enjoy a buffet lunch at Chobe Safari Lodge or Cresta Mowana with views overlooking Namibia. Following lunch, embark on a 2.5 to 3-hour river boat cruise to observe hippos, crocodiles, elephants, floodplains, and abundant birdlife.
Return transfers will bring you back to Victoria Falls, arriving before or around sunset depending on the season.
The next morning, a 5:45 AM pickup starts a two-hour sunrise tour of Victoria Falls, covering all 16 viewpoints. By 8:15 AM, cross into Zambia for a visit to Devil’s Pool. Take a 5-minute boat ride to Livingstone Island where you receive a safety briefing and historical tour. Swimming options depend on water levels and include Devil’s Pool, Angel’s Pool, or Rocky Pool, all located within meters of each other.
A bush breakfast is served on the island before returning by boat and transfer to your accommodation.
