Description
Visit Devil’s Cataract and Livingstone’s Statue, where Dr David Livingstone first saw Victoria Falls on 16 November 1855. The Chain Walk descends into the gorge, offering excellent views of Devil’s Cataract and Cataract Island.
The rainforest is home to diverse bird species and rich flora. Enjoy wet and intermittent views of Livingstone Island and Rainbow Falls from this area. The grassy ledge above Livingstone Island is where Livingstone first discovered the falls.
Livingstone’s statue is visible above the falls and provides the best morning views of Devil’s Cataract. Another viewpoint shows the Main Falls, where during flood season torrents of spray fill the air and obscure the river below.
Discover Rainbow Falls, the highest point of the falls, plus Danger Point, which runs along the cliff edge to view the Eastern Cataract on the Zambian side. The Boiling Pot offers views into the turbulent waters below. The tour ends at the Bridge Viewpoint overlooking the Victoria Falls Bridge linking Zimbabwe and Zambia.
