The route through the Batoka Gorge features Grade 4 and 5 rapids carved over millions of years, offering a wild ride surrounded by sheer black cliffs. Our guides are seasoned locals who have rafted this river since their early teens and are fully trained professionals.
Typical Itinerary
- 7:30 am - Hotel pickup
- 8:00 am - Safety briefing and equipment demonstration
- 9:00 am - Hike down Batoka Gorge to meet rafting crew, photographer, and safety kayakers
- 9:30 am - Begin rafting adventure
- 1:30 pm - Hike up the gorge and transfer to local village for farm-to-table dining
- 2:30 pm - Transfer back to hotel
