Begin with a hotel pickup from Livingstone or Victoria Falls, followed by a scenic drive to experience Victoria Falls from both the Zimbabwean and Zambian sides.
The falls form part of the 2,574-kilometer-long Zambezi River, located roughly halfway along its course before it flows into the Indian Ocean. Your guide will provide insights into the falls’ natural history and local cultural significance, including why locals call it “the smoke that thunders.”
You will visit scenic lookouts, cross the Victoria Falls Bridge, and can optionally take guided tours on either side of the falls (entrance fees not included). The tour concludes with a stop at a local market where you can purchase souvenirs before returning to your accommodation.
