Khayelitshe House is a luxury safari lodge located in the Matobo Hills area; it is approximately 45 kilometres outside the city of Bulawayo. The setting of the lodge is bush scrub and impressive granite rock formations. The lodge is uniquely cut off from the world giving guests the chance to connect with nature but still providing absolute comfort. The environment is serene and offers amazing views all around. The lodge is an eco-friendly facility offering four bedrooms which can sleep up to eight guests. Bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms which have been fitted with roll top baths. The house has a private deck, a sparkling swimming pool plus a gorgeous bar area. All rooms offer simple functional décor which blends well with the surroundings and every room offers stunning window views of the surroundings.
Khayelitshe guests will be treated to a variety of recreational activities such as; game drives, guided nature walks as they explore the balancing rocks and looking for Bushman Rock Art found on the 1200 acre property, birding, hiking and rhino trekking. Khayelitshe is open all year round and promises a rewarding leisure experience, some of the wildlife to expect in the area includes zebra, rhino, warthogs and antelope.
