Masuwe Lodge was one of the flagship entities under Landela Safaris. Well known for its quality hospitality and strategic location, it became a prime holiday resort. Masuwe recently reopened in 2017 after a 15-year hiatus, the Lodge has come back refined and beautifully refurbished.
The lodge offers comfortable accommodation options for its guests, each designed to meet various needs. The Family nest is suitable for guests travelling as a family or small group. It is a self-contained thatched bungalow with 2 bedrooms. It has a plunge pool, kitchenette, private viewing deck and barbeque area. There are wilderness tents designed for singles or couples. These 9 units uniquely combine thatch, canvas and glass to give comfortable well-aerated quarters. Bathroom facilities comprise a separate toilet and shower. The tents give the whole outdoor living without compromising on comfort.
Lastly the Hideaway, this quaint tent is an exclusive spot which is surrounded by bush and gives its occupants a chance to look out for wildlife from the tiny ‘hiding’. This unit is perfect for honeymooners and couples who want some privacy. The tent has several amenities to make guests completely at ease, such as a stocked mini-bar, deck area to relax from, a double shower and large outdoor tub.
