Chinhoyi Caves Day Trip
A full Day Trip from Harare.
A 115 km road trip. Pick up from hotel.
On arrival explore the Chinhoyi Caves, a guide will take you around the cavea.
Chinhoyi Caves is a cave system composed of limestone and dolomite. Dive into the cobalt blue water of the main cave, known as the Sleeping Pool or Chirorodziva.
Discover a submarine passage leading from the Bat Cave, a sub chamber of the Dark Cave, to another room known as the Blind Cave.
Enjoy high visibility, and 50 meters (160 ft) and above is not unusual. This site is often visited by diving expedition teams of technical divers that perform ultra deep diving.
It is not uncommon for dives in excess of 100 meters (330 ft) to be made here by experienced technical divers. A campsite, run by the National Parks Authority, and a motel are located on-site.
Lunch will be at the Caves Motel.
There is also a Lion Enclosure @ the Caves. Entry fees is USD 10 per person.
