Zambezi Drift - Malachite

Malachite is a 60-foot double-decked pontoon-style houseboat that was renovated recently. This luxury houseboat has been modeled to comprise six cabins and can accommodate up to 16 passengers. All cabins are air-conditioned and ensuite and some are double bed accommodations while some offer twin beds. Cabins are equipped with all soft furnishings.

Malachite runs efficiently on solar power but has a backup generator. Other facilities include a fully equipped galley (1 gas cooker, 2 deep freezers, and 1 Fridge/freezer combo), a separate guest toilet, and a spacious top deck that serves as the entertainment area. Here passengers will find the dining and lounge, a fully equipped bar, and the open part of the top deck has a splash pool. There is a gas braai as well on the top deck. For recreation off the boat, there are two motorized tender boats and a one-speed boat. Malachite is serviced by a 4-man crew and these additional items come with boat hire

N. B The boat’s rate is priced on a dry boat basis. Catering and fishing supplies are also excluded but can be arranged and will be priced separately if guests are not making other arrangements.
