All are served al fresco, whether tucked under ancient trees and wide-brimmed umbrellas by day or savouring the ambience of dining by lantern light by night. With all Pure Africa’s cruises leaving conveniently from the Pure Africa Waterfront, you’d do well to seamlessly combine one of our popular Sunset Cruises with a meal at The Eatery in the evening, leaving you in Pure Africa’s care until your after-dinner transfer gets you safely back to your accommodation.

The Eatery Dinner Experience entices guests to enjoy al fresco dining at The Eatery at the Pure Africa Waterfront, where a delicious three-course meal is served by lantern light and enjoyed under a star-studded African sky. The Eatery Dinner Experience focuses on a carefully curated selection of African infused dishes prepared with high-quality ingredients and prepared to perfection, each accompanied by your drink of choice. Perched on the banks of the river, on arrival gather around the fire-pit before following the lanterns to your table for dinner – the roar of the distant Falls, the grunting hippos and call of the fiery-necked nightjar for company.
The Eatery Pot Experience
The Eatery Pot Experience at the Pure Africa Waterfront spoils gourmands with a selection of traditional stews prepared in potjie pots and left to simmer to perfection, before being enjoyed al fresco on the banks of the river for dinner. The potjie dishes offered are Beef, Chicken and Vegetarian, each bringing their own distinct taste of wood-smoked Africa and served as part of a three-course meal with side dishes and followed by dessert. Dinner is enjoyed under the stars alongside the Zambezi River with your drink of choice available by order from our curated collection of Pure Africa wines, artisan spirits and craft beers, all on offer at our cash bar.
