The Flying fox is a short exhilarating trip across the Batoka Gorge way above the Zambezi River, a total 120 m high to exact!  The whole experience calls for the brave but it is well worth taking this plunge for the chance to view the gorgeous view of the chasm, flowing water beneath and experience that soaring feeling, when you can flap your arms and just ‘fly’ across to the other end.

They say the Flying fox or cable slide is a great way to whet one’s appetite for more challenging endeavours on your adventure trip. The flying fox is absolutely safe with participants being strapped in a double harness. Safety is highly emphasised and a detailed brief is given at the beginning of the activity.Guests will be in good hands as helpful staff will answer all questions and patiently help participants as they prepare.

Helpful items to bring include, comfortable clothing, warm clothing if it is during the winter (May to August), hiking shoes, sunscreen and hair ties if one has long hair. A good camera to capture the moment is a good idea but Photographs can be arranged for participants (at an extra charge) upon request.
