Artmoods: Art Workshops for Adults

Join Vanessa Hounsell for weekly art workshops for adults.  All welcome every Thursday morning, whatever your level.  Vanessa works with a wide range of materials including watercolour, oil, acrylic, mixed media and collage.  Workshops are relaxed, fun, process based and experimental - a truly varied, interesting, therapeutic and learning thru-action experience - They could change your life! 

Mini Masters - Art Workshops for Kids

Fun, experimental, process based weekly art workshops for kids ages five to ten - aimed at unlocking chidren's creativity.  Every Tuesday afternoon during term time (other dates to be announced). We use a wide range of materials and techniques -  from poster paint to acrylic, collage, chalk pastels to watercolour and plenty of mixed media.  Children are strongly encouraged to make their own creative,  aesthetic decisions.

Vanessa Hounsell is a professional artist/illustrator and art teacher. She also runs art therapy workshops for groups and individuals and those with special needs.  Vanessa founded the Art Moods/Mini Masters Art Studio, Glen Lorne, Harare in 2010, having formely taught forms one to four at Chisipite High School.  Vanessa began exhibiting in 2001 in London following a career in journalism and publishing.  She studied at the University of Cape Town from 1986-1990.  Vanessa is also available for individual private lessons and one on one or small group art therapy sessions  by arrangement.
