Shark Sunset Cruise
Make your Kariba vacation memorable with a sunset cruise experience. Hop on board their pontoon boats for only US$25 per person. The Shark Sunset Cruise offers a braai facility on board and musical entertainment provided by the best Deejay in town. Boating is for everybody and it’s a relaxing leisure activity as you feel the cool breeze and look out onto the beautiful waters. The cruise gives guests a chance to explore part of the lake and to see the beautiful sunset. The cruise adventure takes two hours and guests can do speed boat rides in between.
Game drives
Aside from the lake being the main feature of Kariba town, a significant part of the area is in Wildlife territory. Visitors to Kariba can venture out on a game drive to Nyanyani Game park. The two-hour activity will expose them to different species of animals including elephants, plains game, and birdlife. This activity will expose the beauty of the area as Kariba has many wide-open spaces and encountering animals is easy. Guests will be required to pay US$25 Per person; group facilities are available.

The bikes are for all ages and no experience is required. Riders are led by an experienced crew who know their way around the resort town and you can stop to ask or learn more. The activity can be done at sunset and participants can have many interesting photographic opportunities as well.

Kariba offers a number of leisure activities for visitors looking for a good time. Parasailing is one of those recreational options for adventure seekers. Live on the wild side a bit and enjoy a unique way to see the beauty of Lake Kariba.
Enjoy a non-conventional form of Parasailing whereby the participant is attached to a hydraulic winch, the shoot is deployed behind the boat, you are then attached to the shoot via a harness and a hydraulic winch lets you out from a deck at the back of the boat. After the flight, the winch draws you back onto the deck again alleviating the need for a traditional parasail where you would land into the water.
The activity is available all year round and is dependent on weather conditions. No experience is required, ideally, the participants should be 12 years or older special concessions can be made for younger children if they are accompanied by an adult and participate via tandem flight. Participants will soar over the lake for up to 80 metres. It takes about one hour and fifteen minutes for the experience. Guests are encouraged to bring the following protective gear
Sun Hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
Activity cost: US$50 per person per flight, US$65 per person per tandem flight.
