Cresta Jameson Hotel
The Jameson is primarily a business hotel because of its location, at the heart of the city, a high-paced setting where movers and shakers meet. It is convenient for the Business executive who wants somewhere easily accessible while offering quality facilities and executive support. It is suitable for corporates jetting in from out of town for a workshop. Here they can have high power deliberations by day, dine and relax in the evenings and retire all under one roof. However, the Jameson can also accommodate couples, families, or leisure travellers as well.
The Cresta Group has been having large-scale renovations and refurbishments of its various properties and Cresta Jameson was in need of a facelift as well. Now the renovations are 90% complete and the hotel is taking guests. The renovations have been a great success and the hotel has a fresh new look with major differences in the guest rooms, facilities, and public areas. The improvements have certainly modernized it in many respects.
Some of the upgrades include; the replacement of old furnishings, plus bed linen, improved security features, the expansion of the Car park, the introduction of eco-friendly durable flooring, and so forth. The Hotel’s kitchens were renovated completely, and wall tiles, floors, and all equipment were replaced. They have also digitalized check-in and some Hotel operations in keeping with world trends, for example, Executive suites will now be equipped with virtual assistants. In this season of Covid-19 the hotel is also implementing all the recommended WHO Protocols to ensure guests’ safety and wellbeing.
The hotel has seven floors and 123 Rooms in all, with the following Room types

- Executive suites
- Family Rooms
- Standard Double Room
- Standard single room
- Standard Twin rooms
In terms of Dining facilities, the hotel has two restaurants, Sandawana and Tiffany’s. It also has two kitchens. Sandawana is on the ground floor and accommodates around seventy diners. It is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and it is perfect for casual meetings. Tiffany’s is a fine dining restaurant, which is evidenced by the setup and menu. There is one bar within the hotel, named The Usual Place. There are five function rooms, all named after rivers; Zambezi, Sanyathi, Odzi, Sabi, and Limpopo. These are suitable to host corporate functions such as Workshops, Business Breakfasts, Award ceremonies, etc. Cresta Jameson also has a mobile kitchen which they use to provide outside catering for any functions of this nature
Additional hotel Facilities are - An Activities desk, a visitors Lounge, a swimming pool, Business Centre, and a Car park with 24-hour security.
