Lions Den butchery is found twenty five kms after Chinhoyi on the way to Kariba, they have a great selection of meat, biltong and snacks such as pistachio nuts to name a few. They also do orders for travellers to collect on their journey that will be ready packed and frozen. They supply ice as well to ensure supplies are kept cold throughout the duration of your trip.
Next door is Saucy Sue's take away which has become a popular place for travellers to stop enjoy a bacon and egg, steak or borewors roll on their way to Kariba or Chirundu. There are some benches outside where you can sit or alternatively take your food on the road. In addition there are clean bathrooms that are always welcome on a long journey.
