For over 20 years Tony’s Café has been open to serve tourists, the locals and all manner of travellers on the Bvumba road. Now an award-winning café (TripAdvisor, Award of Excellence) it is a well-deserved accolade to a place that just makes you feel welcome.
Visitors are guaranteed warm hospitality and a laugh or two from the man behind the brand. Tony’s is in a beautiful location that boasts of a lovingly tendered garden. Visitors can also enjoy the beautiful Vumba greenery as they watch age-old gum trees swaying proudly as they shelter this lovely property.
The café has an interesting menu that has over a hundred types of teas, as well as an array of other refreshing beverages. It has something for everyone from Tanganda tea, green tea, lemonade, premium coffees, hot chocolate and so much more. The cakes and sweet treats, however, are Tony’s speciality. The glorious cheesecakes, in particular, all have one thing in common; they are the chef’s creation. Familiar favourite flavours expertly improved upon and given a new twist with amazing results.
All the cakes exude the passion and creativity which is poured in. Some good examples include; the chocolate whiskey cake, white chocolate cheesecake, The Black Cherry and Chocolate mousse or any of the creamy gâteaux.
