Chitake Tented Camp

Chitake Spring is a well-known water point which is found within the Mana Pools National Park. The perennial spring serves as a reliable water source during the dry months and therefore attracts all sorts of wildlife. The Chitake Tented Camp is conveniently located just metres away from this wildlife-rich area.

Chitake Camp is an intimate camp which accommodates up to six people at a time and it comprises Meru tents. This solar-powered camp is designed to give guests a true nature experience while making it comfortable as well. Guests have flush toilets; bucket showers and can expect some expertly prepared meals prepared by the chef throughout their stay.  There are no game drives at Chitake camp as guests are exposed to the environment through walking safaris. Guests can look forward to viewing animals from within the camp as various species flock to this popular waterhole. The likes of lions, elephants, buffalo, painted dog, hyenas, baboons, and so on have been sighted before.
