Fisherman’s Rest does not have WiFi, and will continue not to have.  This is a decision made by the owners as they feel people come to Kariba to get away from all the busyness of day to day communication.  There is however a TV with open view decoder, and a home theatre system, with guests most welcome to bring their own memory sticks, CD’s and DVD’s.  Please just bear in mind that this is a residential area and remain respectful of your neighbours and the wildlife.

There is a back up generator for lighting which will be switched on from 5.30pm to 9pm. Thereafter 6 rechargeable LED lamps are to be used.  Water is provided by the municipality, so guests are encouraged to bring their own drinking water.
Fisherman’s Rest is a self-catering house, but it does provide tissue, hand wash and dish washing liquid.  Guests to bring all other items such as food and toiletries.  The property is fully fenced, but guests are still asked to keep vigilant when it comes to wild animals and your valuables.
Check-in time is 2p.m, and check out time is 10a.m(unless otherwise organised).
