Mana Pools is one of Zimbabwe’s prime national parks; this beautiful wild life rich area is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Africa. This amazing setting is the location of John’s Camp. This semi permanent camp site is pegged very close to the Zambezi River. The camp is designed for those who are looking for a chance to see nature up close but still enjoy comfortably. 

The camp offers 6 Meru style tents which accommodate 12 guests. Each tent comes with a small verandah, a Flush toilet with bucket shower plus wash basin inside the tent. The tents are protected from unwanted insect guests by fly sheets. There is a central entertainment area in the camp which serves as the dining area. A campfire is set up for sundowners and a place to chit chat after meals. The rates include all meals and drinks and premium spirits are available on request. Guests can look forward to unconventional but truly unforgettable dining experiences (candle light dinner under the stars).

Activities on offer include game drives by day, safari walks, star gazing, tour of the Parks headquarters and so on. Guests are advised this camp is not suitable for children under twelve. The camp is open from May to mid November. Mana pools is hot a dry region. It is advisable to bring sunscreen, sun hats, shades, loose fitting comfortable (earth toned colours) it is beneficial to have a warm jacket and walking shoes.
