Sango Wildlife Lodge - A Sanctuary In The Heart Of Africa
The Save Valley Conservancy lies in the south-east of Zimbabwe, over 400 kilometres from Zimbabwe’s capital city Harare. It is in this dry savanna basin you will find Sango lodge. The name ‘sango’ is translated from the native Shona to mean jungle; aptly named this lodge is right in the heart of the African bundu, as a charming dot of civilisation in this wild and gorgeous space spanning 600square kilometres.
However, guests will find not much was taken away from the original landscape as every structure was ingeniously constructed and built to blend using local materials.
Sango is an award-winning lodge which has four luxury chalets/cottages and one tented camp. Each lodge is unique in its features and the unbelievable views from each are unparalleled. The cottages are all stonework under the thatch roof with the following facilities;

- Luxurious King-size beds *(can be replaced with twin beds if desired)
- Mosquito Nets
All the cottages, Chinga, Baobab, Suni and Syringa can accommodate up to 4 people. Syringa is the most exclusive and largest; it comes with a private plunge pool. Each cottage comes with impressive fittings and furnishings which make the ethnic experience so real and tangible.
The tented section of Sango has four comfortable en-suite tents. Guests can enjoy camping in style in these luxury units which have all the amenities to make one feel comfortable. Main Lodge facilities at Sango include a swimming pool, bar, lounge, library, a private office area for business calls and a well-equipped gym.
Guest rates are inclusive of meals and all refreshments, laundry and housekeeping. Activities at Sango include Birding, Photo safaris and walking safaris.
