Course 1 in the Introduction To Wines, a two-and-a-half-hour session that focuses on what wine is and its history, how it is made, the different types and styles of wine, wine tasting and health aspects of wine. Course 2 is a focus on appreciating varietals, a two-hour session. Both courses start with refreshments and end with a light meal. Dates planned are as follows:
Course 1 - Saturday May 4 (10.30am to 1pm) and Tuesday May 7 (6.15pm to 8.45pm);
Course 2 – Saturday May 11 (10.30am to 12.30pm) and Wednesday May 15 (6.15pm to 8.15pm).
