I love a good smothering of cheesy flavoured fillings and the breakfast meal I had at The Roasted Bean Cafe went beyond my expectations. I was served their delicious Breakfast Bagel which comes with two poached eggs, cream cheese, avocado, hollandaise sauce and bacon all filled between a toasted bagel.  My colleague enjoyed his Breakfast Quesadilla; a mouth-watering tortilla packed with scrambled eggs, bacon, cheddar cheese, avocado and caramelised onions. We ate our meal with hot chocolate drinks.
The Roasted Bean Cafe is located at number 336 Samora Machel Avenue, right at the corner of Samora Machel and Rhodesville Avenue. With plenty of outdoor seating areas either in the garden, or under the shade of the verandah, they offer a superb breakfast and lunch menu.  They also offer take-aways for those on the go.  Their breakfast menu is served till noon and prices range from US$5.00 for an English Breakfast to US$ 12.50 for the Breakfast Bagel with Salmon.  Lunch is served till 4pm and prices range from US$10.00 for those who love a good chicken pot pie, to US$ 20.00 for melt in your mouth sticky ribs.
Their portions are very fair.  Both my friend and I were full all day from that morning meal.  The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, thanks to our fantastic server Panashe.  The Roasted Bean Cafe is definitely worth the visit.
