The Imvelo Safaris Group is proud to launch an exciting new activity to their Activity portfolio. A truly unique add-on to the Hwange visits for all in 2018. From the beginning of March 2018, horseback safaris will be open to guests who are booked at the Camelthorn and the Bomani Camps.
This activity will be offered to guests at different levels so as to accommodate varying levels of skill and experience. From Fully fledged riders to younger family members, there is a suitable fun experience planned for all. There are 5 different rides varying in complexity and duration as follows:
1. Beginner Bush Experience - approximately 1 hour for beginners and novice riders
2. Hippo Sunrise - approximately 3 hours for experienced riders
3. Cultural Ride - approximately 5 ½ hours for intermediate riders
4. Sundowner Ride - approximately 2 hours for intermediate riders
5. Full Day Safari Ride - approximately 8 hours for experienced riders
N.B Multi day safaris are also available
Guests will receive some snacks and refreshments on all the rides. The activity is offered daily but will by no means be predictable in nature. Guests (riders) can look forward to a great adventure in the company of seasoned and well trained trackers and guides. Riders can also indicate their preferred pace as they are guided in exploring the savanna.
There is no better way to take in the sights and sounds of the bush, relax or stretch. Whichever mood you fancy, this experiential safari is unique, exciting and relaxing. Guests can book for riding activities in advance or pay when they arrive at the Lodge.
