The Big 5 lodge is a new Kariba lodge uniquely located on Mica Point, it is an excellent vacation spot that gives visitors a sweeping view of the lake. The lodge sits on a large secure property and offers the following outdoor facilities for guests’ enjoyment; a lovely swimming pool, outdoor bar, and entertainment area with ablutions perfect for events.

The lodge is a family-friendly facility that comprises two separate accommodation options, a 2-bedroomed Self-catering Cottage and Main Lodge for full board accommodation. The Main Lodge is made up of four well-appointed en-suite bedrooms. The living area has a roomy open-plan lounge with 2 seating areas, a large television (with satellite) kitchen, and an impressive bar area complete with fully stocked bar fridges and freezers.
The main lodge also has spacious outdoor seating where guests can relax in the cool of the day taking in the view.  The sleeping quarters come with the following features

•  Digital Satellite TV.

• King-size beds in rooms 1 -3 and a double bed in room 4

The small self-catering cottage mentioned above is ideal for a small family or a small group. It is a 2-bedroom unit with an open plan lounge, fully equipped kitchen, and one bathroom. The bedrooms have double beds, overhead fans, and storage cupboards. Cottage guests have access to the swimming pool entertainment area in the main lodge area.

Big 5 is a serviced lodge don’t need to bring detergents. There is daily housekeeping.  There is a backup generator and solar heating in case of power cuts. The lodge relies on council water and guests are encouraged to bring their own drinking water.
