Chishakwe Ranch River Camp is set in the bush on the shady banks of the Msaize River.
The River Camp offers simplicity and comfort without taking away from the natural bush environment. Five thatched chalets with en-suite shower bathrooms each offer a view over the river and into the bush from a private balcony. A central swimming pool with a deep step allows for a swim, or even a wallow, on a hot day. Here your days are measured by the tranquil daily rhythms of the bush.
Meals are freshly prepared and requests for special occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries gladly entertained. A small bar area offers liquid refreshment, or you are welcome to bring your own.
If you want to get out and get busy try a walk, a climb, some fishing or take to the Big Dam on a canoe. Enjoy the sunset from the top of Moon Rock and wrap up for a spotlit drive back to camp.
