A stay at Chundu is an escape from it all; as one is immersed in the peace and serenity that envelopes this Riverine location. The lodge comprises well-aerated luxury chalets built on wooden decks and thatched with Palm to give that beautiful beachfront tropical look. Guests are guaranteed of delightful views of the river, surrounding grasslands, tree groves and gorgeous sunsets.
All guest bedrooms are ensuite and have the following amenities, comfy queen-size beds, overhead fans (indoor and out), double vanities, viewing deck with outdoor loungers, tea & coffee facilities, minibar and outdoor shower. The communal areas include a dining area with a fireplace, lounge, swimming pool and a well-stocked bar.
Meals are served at the main lodge where guests have access to spectacular views of the River.
Relaxing on the deck, guests can look out for game grazing on the banks.
Activities at Chundu cater to those who want to experience the african bush up close, to capture its diversity and marvel at the beauty. From the early morning game drives, early morning birding to walking safaris. Other activities include canoeing on the Zambezi, game drives, sunset cruises, island walks and fishing.
