Shamashanga is a 16-bed tented camp situated at the old G-camp site in the Sapi Safari Area. The tents are all large twin-bedded, East African style, walk-in tents with en suite facilities. Like Tafika, a large central dining area accommodates the dining room, bar and lounge areas. There is a small, plunge pool situated off to the side, out of view of the main lounge/bar area.
To visit Shamashanga you pay an inclusive price that covers all meals, accommodation, refreshments, and boat access (with 50 litres of fuel per day). There are experienced river guides to help you find the best spots and also assist you with fishing tackle, ensuring that you have a very relaxing experience.
