Simwenge Lodge

Simwenge Lodge is a luxury fishing camp which sits on the banks of the Zambezi River in the Hwange area. An intimate camp which offers only 6 comfy air-conditioned tents which can sleep 12 people; Simwenge is a great base for your fishing safari. Tents are equipped with beds, linens, a cosy outdoor seating area, plug points and fans.

Guests are booked on a full board basis and great meals are served from the main gazebo which has great views all round. The lodge has a fleet of three boats and one pontoon and offers fishing excursions on the Gwaai River and sailing trips. Fishing is on a Catch and releases basis. Guests can also opt for game drives and cultural visits in the nearby villages. Those who want to relax in camp can take a dip in the beautiful infinity pool or take a snooze on the sun loungers under the shade of the massive indigenous trees.

Simwenge is the perfect place to soak in some sun, indulge your passion for fishing and relax, a true African paradise and a hidden gem.
